It is with great sadness that I learned of the death of Jean-François Bauret. With Jean-François and Didier de Fays, we founded photographie.com. In 1996, when few people believed in the internet, Jean-François was immediately taken with the project. He introduced us to Guy Bourreau, who was then the head of Kodak, and Eddy Gassmann, the CEO of Laboratoires Picto. This made the adventure possible.
