I used to work at an online newspaper site. Not as a photographer mind you, just an office worker. They moved our office from a dumpy part of town to a beautiful neighborhood. I used to walk around at lunchtime, just kind of lonely and bored. Later in the evening I used to play around with the photos I took earlier in the day. In late 2014 I started posting them to a daily photo blog that I called: The Daily Distortion. I called it that because I was in fact deliberately messing around with the pictures, but it was also a subtle dig at my employer. In reality I think my former employer did a pretty good job at presenting the news without distorting it, but still it was fun to tease them.
Anyway, i don’t work there anymore, but The Daily Distortion keeps on publishing one new distorted photo daily. With any luck I can keep doing for this a while to come.
