These thirty-six portraits of key players in the French political arena were taken as part of a long-term photography project for Le Monde newspaper.
With intuition and sensitivity, Tina Merandon zeroes in on the human truth behind these political figures and their deepening love-hate relationship with the media.
Represented in this exhibition are not only the 2012 presidential candidates and other political first-rank political figures, but also the men and women working in the shadows, the outsiders, ordinary citizens, and those fortysomethings with a bright political future.
