My life as a professional photographer commenced by 1953 with an order by a major pharmaceutical company at Basel. I took a rather creative than documentary approach. My results were not only appraised by this customer but led to many more assignments. This although or rather just because I stuck to my own style and photographic approach. – René Groebli
