On June 11, 2012, the Contemporary Art Museum of Teheran hosted the “Awakening World Awards” closing ceremony. This international contest open to photographers and designers features a cash reward. The first prize of 10,000 Euros was attributed to Hossein Fatemi (Iran) for a story on the war in Afghanistan.
