This series around the menhirs was born more than four years ago.
I began to photograph the megaliths that I met, tumulus, dolmen, cairn, menhir with the only desire to fix their images on a film.
As I wandered through the four corners of Brittany, I was particularly interested in the menhirs, I made their portraits, attracted by their singularity.
Equiped with my 6×6 film camera, black and white films and a tripod, I focused on the shape, the stone texture and its environment.
I then made silver prints by hand, thus paying homage to their mysterious uniqueness.
