I first started taking photographs on the sets of adult movies in the San Fernando Valley. I was there as a journalist. Photography gave me a break from thinking. It was a chance to hide behind the camera and not-think about everything that was happening. I’ve taken photos on porn sets, at porn conventions, on the red carpet of the porn awards. For me, it’s a chance to go break through the fourth wall and see what’s happening on the other side, what usually remains hidden.
