Daughters of….
While evoking the notions of filiation and roots, one question still remains, suspended between these uncovered bodies. An uncertainty, a veiled reality … an enigma.
A threathned birth.
The chemical process used to develop the film acted as black magic both destructive and revealing.
The values were reversed leaving veils of gelatin in latency betwixt two moments : that of the shooting and that of the image’s outcome. When the white becomes black, when values are no longer and references are inverted, whom do we trust ?
When the roots have chosen to grow in the gray, bodies sometimes hide in the absence or in oblivion, and then, one wonders where the game ends and where the destruction begins ?
