Roland Garros –Capucine Bailly

Preview

“When I grow up, I’ll be sitting with the photographers in the front row” said the young Capucine Bailly who was taking pictures from the stands at Roland Garros with her Fisher Price camera.

After several internships as a production assistant for television shows, she left for New York where, in 2002, she began interviewing NBA players and photographing the local ice hockey league. She enrolled in the photojournalism program at ICP (International Center of Photography). Thirteen international students, including Capucine, created in 2005 the New York based Veras Images represented by Cosmos, Focus, Redux and Grazia Neri. The adventure ended in 2009. Today, Capucine works freelance.
