Metamorphosis
“Metamorphoses” is a photographic series aimed at evoking the multiple feelings faced with the profound interior and exterior changes imposed by breast cancer.
It is part of the daily life of the illness and evokes the main stages of it through shared emotions.
It carries a message of femininity, in the need to recognize the other beauty of this body, beyond mutilation, and to affirm it as still one’s own and always desirable.
It also claims a desire for freedom, the right to be and live in society, beyond the ostentatious stigmata of illness and against the diktat of fear and intolerance.
Finally, it expresses the strength of the soul in a message of courage and determination in the face of the vicissitudes of life.
She wants to be openly positive.
