Your first photographic memory, the first emotion.

Your first photograph.

Your most beautiful photographic memory.

We went with my family to the temple for New Years Eve. I watched my old father walk in front of me and seeing his silhouette from behind, I realized that I had to remember this precious moment. There are many celebrations in Japan. At the age of 3, 5, 7, 20, 60, 70 years old … To immortalize these moments, we used to go to the photographer.

During my mother’s 60th birthday, we took a family photo, and it was on seeing the final photo that I noticed that my mother’s face had looked younger. We hadn’t asked the photographer, but the wrinkles had been erased, as if all of my mother’s years had been erased.
