Modern Art Photography is photography that is “Modern Art.” The old question, “Is Photography art?”, is passe. Photography is taught in university Art departments. Equally, complains against photography producing multiple copies is negated since silkscreened and lithographs do the same. If the composition of a photograph meets design criteria of what constitutes Modern Art, then the photograph may be Modern Art.
