San Francesco Bridge
This is a small collection of 13 images of my minimalist vision of the bridge designed by architect Santiago Calatrava in my hometown of Cosenza in southern Italy. The shape recalls that of a giant harp symbol of harmony and in this regard I recall a phrase by the poet Khalil Gibran: “Your body is the harp of the soul and it is up to you to make sweet music or confused sounds.” This is because the majestic and notably important work was appreciated but also judged negatively by many.
