In red and black, facing the sea
It is all along the coast that I fully live my dual passion for the sea and photography by seeking the very particular light at the start or end of the day, often specific to a region. I like to capture the light when, aided by the clouds, it magnifies the elements: Being there at the right time: whether in Fécamp, in Barfleur, on the Normandy coast, at the tip of Brittany, or in Provence in Cannes or Saint- Tropez, and particularly during the fall or winter months; the seaside inspires me, fills me. Through these fifteen photographs I translate my vision of what I am looking for on the shores, or during nautical events by adding a light post-processing to keep only reds and blacks to bring out a particular element linked to the sea.
