A kaleidoscope of personal and recorded experience, seen through the lens of a camera, is the focus of Photo Oxford’s 5th festival, which runs from 14 April – 6 May 2023.
This year’s Festival engages with past and present in a challenging, arresting and often moving series of displays and exhibitions, in some of Oxford’s finest historic and contemporary spaces.
Photo Oxford offers something for everyone with more than 20 free exhibitions and installations – indoor, outdoor and online – as well as events, talks, short courses and one-to-one professional reviews.
Photo Oxford Festival is a biennial event, established in 2013. The Festival takes advantage of the extraordinary resources available within the universities and city of Oxford and exists to bring internationally acclaimed photography and debate to the city. It curates a diverse and ambitious programme of exhibitions and related events, together with opportunities for professional development, and collaborates with key partners across the city as well as nationally and internationally.
