Phillips de Pury opened yesterday the auction season in New York with two events. Here are some highlights of the Photographs auction with their estimates and sale prices.
The top stop belonged to Richard Avedon’s Beatles Portfolio which sold for $722,500, a new record for the portfolio which reached $499,722 last year in Paris.
