The umbrellas of Montmartre
Street photographer for several years, I specialized in Paris and mainly Montmartre in B&W. Except for the urban landscape, I very rarely take color photos on the street. I never ask a subject to pose, because the most important thing in street photography is the fleeting moment, the natural. I like to cross Paris on foot alone or with a friend, in search of photos. I teach photography at the Michelet school in St Ouen sur Seine, where I am the photographer. I work in digital, but in street photography I am often using film, because film gives a timeless character to the photo.
