Since the 1980s, Patrick Bailly-Maître-Grand has gone in search of remarkably conceptual poetry. He explores with inventiveness the photographic act from the making of the image to its destination, which he stages in playful and imaginative installations. Patrick Bailly-Maître-Grand reinvests in the techniques history and makes us walk through the process which he exploits in reverse the properties: light becomes matter, substance becomes evanescence.
