Paris Match : Ciné, ciné, ciné Saint-Tropez

Preview

For the second year in a row, Paris Match designed and produced the summer photo exhibition for the city of Saint-Tropez.
Entitled “Ciné, cinema, cinema, Saint-Tropez”, this unique creation can be discovered in the heart of the city, Place Blanqui and Square de Lattre de Tassigny, until October 15, 2024.

Saint-Tropez, land of cinema
The camera’s field of vision widens to show us the stars as we have never seen them, behind the scenes or on set, concentrated or letting go completely, they open the doors to their passion: filming.
A real tribute to the profession, these photographs, both intimate and professional, are above all authentic.

A tailor-made photographic exhibition
Marc Brincourt, exhibition curator, Michel Maiquez, former artistic director of Paris Match, Ghislain Loustalot, former journalist at Paris Match, have built an outdoor photo exhibition, to be discovered, with free access, all summer and until the beginning of autumn: a selection of photos in homage to the 7th art, printed in large format, with captions written and translated by the magazine’s editorial staff.

“For the second year in a row, I wanted to host a very high quality photo exhibition in partnership with Paris Match. This link was completely natural for me because it is in Paris Match that the most beautiful photos of stars taken in Saint-Tropez have over time been published.
I wanted both the Tropezians and our visitors to be able to enjoy the beauty of these images.”
Sylvie Siri
Mayor of Saint-Tropez, Regional Councilor

“These photos, often from the magazine’s archives, are nothing but joy, generosity, freedom, complicity… shared by the stars, their film crew and the photographers who have this wonderful talent of capturing these stolen moments for posterity.”
Gwenaëlle de Kerros
Development Director of Paris Match
