The lives of this city
This series called « Les vies de cette ville”, Toulon in this case where I live, reveals characters who seem to me very lonely and so visible at the same time. They parade in one direction, go in the other direction, come to meet us then move away and leave us. These men and women, who are they? I don’t know anything about their life, but these fleeting moments during which I met them allowed me to immortalize them and share these few hundredths of a second. I started this series at the beginning of 2019 with a quest for these remarkable characters, often in bright colors, with a particular background or foreground that seems to play with their charismatic silhouettes that wander silently in the city to give them importance.
