I do not see the photograph except through the staging. As a performer, in all my stagings, I am both the model, the “encordeuse” and the photographer. Directed and put to the test : the photographic trial and the physical test. I decide to be my own model because, apart from the narcissism questions, I physically and emotionally feel the need to experience the situations that I set up. I am self taught about learning shibari that is why this particular technique of self-rope I photograph step by step. Under Nina Scceletton’s anagram, I express my sense of femininity as chains and weapons.
