Located in Couillet (Charleroi), the Jacques Cerami gallery, which opened in late 2001, has organized five to six exhibitions per year featuring the work of a single artists, a group of artists, or projects organized around a specific theme.
Eager to present art in all its diversity, Jacques Cerami has showcased artists working in different disciplines of painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, installations and video: Vincen Beeckman, Michaël Matthys, Mirjam Siefert, Lore Rabaut & Frank Depoorter, Philippe Herbet, Nina Berman, Ronny Delrue, Jean-Baptiste Sauvage, Jean Revillard, Nadia Shira Cohen, Michel Couturier and Francesco Nonino.
The gallery aims to promote the work of young artists at a national and international level, helping them organize shows in gallery, art centers and museums. The gallery is also an active participant in contemporary art fairs.
