Valid Foto BCN Gallery
Valid Foto BCN is the initiative project of 4 people who decided to open a space dedicated to the exhibition of photography and events related to the medium.
The gallery’s commitment is to promote photography as a valuable art form. It presents and promotes artists within the gallery own space, as well as outside its wall. Valid Foto committal is to give the right expertise to clients and to inform the willing public about the photographic medium.
Artist represented: Álvaro Sánchez Montañés
Álvaro Sánchez-Montañés found “ beauty in the abandoned, the useless, the time passing by.” The photographs he takes to document the occurrence are surreal.
Landnemar Serie : Landnemar walks though frozen lands, empty spaces, minimal towns and landscapes, spending time to reflect about the necessity to dominate Nature.
Valid Foto BCN Editions
Valid Editions started in 2011 when they (www.validfoto.com) and the photographers of ConvincingBlack (www.convincingblack.com) got together.
Valid Editions projects include the creation of limited editioned photographs, portfolios, artist books and travelling exhibitions to be shown at major museums, photo galleries and art institutions.
We intent to cater for photographers, collectors and photography enthusiasts worldwide. Our aim is to foster both the development and the appreciation for the photographic medium , focusing on spreading high quality printing photography.
We would like to make of each portfolio, book or exhibition an object of beauty reflecting the highest standards of craftsmanship and artistic significance.
