I would like to present for your consideration the following portfolio of black and white photographs of the natural and urban landscapes. Portraits of ordinary places and places of the sacred, of passageways, of time moving and of time still. Places that hold the memory of human dreams and tragedies, that connect yesterday to today and allow for a reflexion to our common future.
My approach to these landscapes is one of being in harmony with time, I try not to capture time and even less to freeze it, but to flow within it.
For this series, I photograph with Polaroid type 665 film, which is a peel away positive print along with a 3.25 inch x 4.12 inch format negative with an emulsion layer that can tear, solorize and oxidize in certain conditions.
