Souls of the Dead Forest
The project is inspired by a popular theme – exploring yourself, listening to your subtle mental processes. This is a call for the viewer to comprehend and identify what is hidden from himself in the basements of the unconscious, a reference to deep prehistoric fears. In our troubled times, the collective fear of the insecurity of the world around us shackles us from the inside, reminds us how weak a person is in the face of the unknown. The images in my photos are inspired by a trip to the Amankaragai relic forest, which was damaged by a giant fire in 2022. Monsters, spirits, mystical characters are a way to make sense of the frightening darkness that haunts every person and finds no form to be expressed. I suggest that the viewer visualize and identify what was not previously meant. To give a name, a place and the opportunity to be placed inside the psyche of the excluded, which was very scary to look at all life. Everyone will be able to see their own patterns in the images presented in the project. This is an opportunity to connect with something very important, recognize the process, grieve and one day give yourself a chance to choose a life without fears, for real.
