The series “Cuentos Chinos” was made from shots taken in the studio. In Argentina the expression “cuentos chinos” refers to false messages, lies, pretexts, unfounded apologies. The choice of this title is not fortuitous if one takes into account the fact that the whole exhibition converges specifically in the staging of situations of deceit, lies and cheating. In addition, and always in accordance with the title, Cuentos Chinos is made with cheap objects, plastic, ceramic, cloth … bought in boutiques of Chinese baubles. They are “cuentos chinos” (Chinese tales) made of Chinese objects.
