Marc Safran is a certified Modern Literature Professor who is
completing a poetry collection. He has been traveling the world since
2000 and has discovered Haiti, Poland, Florida, Turkey, Tunisia, and
currently, China.
For his first visit to China, he traveled through the Guangxi
province, after a long bus trip to Guilin then Yangshou. This
subtropical location has a fabulous landscape of vertiginous and
rounded hills along powerful rivers including the Li Jiang. In homage
to the location, these landscapes are featured on 20 yuan bills.
