Viennese photographer Manfred Baumann and his muse & wife Nelly celebrate their 25th anniversary. This is why this sensual B / W photograph in a bathtub was created with the self-timer in LockDown! Back in 2009, they already did a self-portrait, the rest of the portfolio shows their collaboration through the years. This is what they send to their friends at this occasion.
Manfred Baumann was born in Vienna in 1968. The Leica photographer has since presented his works worldwide in the form of exhibitions, books, and calendars. His photographs are displayed in museums as well as in international galleries.
He lives in LA and Vienna, and works worldwide, having already photographed such greats as Sandra Bullock, William Shatner, Jack Black, Natalie Portman, Martin Sheen, Lionel Richie, Olivia Newton John, Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Juliette Lewis, Angelina Jolie and Evander Holyfield, as well as many international top models.
At the end of the summer Manfred’s latest illustrated book “Face to Face” will be published by the German publisher Hatje Cantz Verlag, which will be available in all Leica stores and galleries worldwide.
