Spring has finally come to London, and photography is now front and center at the Flowers Gallery, which is presenting a special selection of work from six of its most renowned photographers, including Nadav Kander, Glen Erler, Michael Wolf, Geir Moseid, Julie Cockburn and Mona Kuhn.
Their photographs explore the human body and its relationship to the environment. Although only a dozen photographs are on display in one of the gallery’s first-floor rooms, there’s more than enough for the visitor to take in, with delicate and disturbing visions of human bodies imprisoned, magnified, dressed up and stripped down.
Spring Photography Selection is a modest exhibition that nonetheless offers remarkable insight into planned and spontaneous visual interpretations of the human body in its urban and natural environments.
