Larry Torno, American, St. Louis, Missouri, 58 yrs. old. “I have a 35-year career as an art director and graphic designer. In 2004 I took a trip to Carmel, California to visit a friend and his wife. Their love of photography and the lush landscapes of the great American west were addicting. I went home, bought a digital camera and have been shooting ever since. This series was created in response to a gallery owner who challenged me by saying “show me something I’ve never seen before.” His response to this collection was ” THESE are photographs!?!” Yes, they are.”
