This year, the Jury of the Prix Picto , led by photographer Paolo Roversi and made up of figures from the world of photography, luxury, art, and media, is gathering to choose the 2017 winners among the twenty-four portfolios chosen. The Eye of Photography would like to give you a taste of the finalists’ work. Here we have Amandine Kuhlmann from l’Ecole de Condé and practitioner of photography known as feminist; Aude Lerin of Bordeaux, who, with photography, explores her own incertitudes and her identity; Ella Bats, from l’Ecole des Gobelins, who emphasizes images close to theatrics, integrating the body in spaces and objects; Jeremy Benkemoun, still a student at Université Paris 8, fascinated by the shapes of the body and the idea of modeling them as he pleases; and Ussin Yala, a young Gabonese photographer whose practice of the portrait is well-expressed in the streets.
