Jonathan Alpeyrie just completed a new photo essay that he is sharing with us along with this text:
I covered four States of the USA: Alabama, Florida, Maryland and Georgia, creating a photo essay exploring in the context of the current political and economic divide of this nation how poverty has hit equally all Americans regardless of race.
I therefore followed a few individuals in their daily lives in the context of their environment from the ghettos of Baltimore and Birmingham, to the trailer parks and small towns of Georgia and Northern Florida. These samples are a good representation of a fractured nation where Americans from all walks of life and ethnic backgrounds are experiencing similar decline within our society.
