Getty Images, the global leader in visual communication, and LeanIn.Org, the women’s non-profit founded by Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, have teamed up and launched the Lean In Collection—a library of 4,500 creative images (and counting) devoted to the powerful depiction of women, girls, families and the workplace. The goal is to shift perceptions, overturn clichés, and incorporate authentic images of women into media and advertising. Photos from the collection have been licensed in over 65 countries, including Qatar, Kuwait and Korea, with global sales doubling in just the first year.
