Incidental Colorfields : Filmburn
This collection of colorfields was not one I set out to create, but one that was formed slowly over time, unbeknownst to me, while having countless rolls of film developed.
The “burnt” frames that I have chosen are examples that resemble abstract color-field paintings, emphasizing color, mood, and space; contrasting against the intentionally exposed frames on the rest of the roll, which are of a narrative nature.
The collection slowly moves forward – each burnt frame a surprising colorful prelude to the roll of images that follow.
