Zero Gravity
Faster, higher, stronger ! The original motto of the Olympic Games,“Ciltius, altius, fortius”, takes on its full meaning with this artist always rushing forth to touch the stars. Mathieu Forget, or Forgetmat, is a complete artist: dancer, performer, artistic director, photographer and… flying man. Flying Man is known for his world of lightness and levitation, which he transmits through photographs, dance and live aerial performances. As part of the 2024 Olympic Games, this versatile contemporary artist gives us the experience of being suspended between earth and sky: The Levitation Project. Photographs, videos and performances are revealed here in a high-profile exhibition, showcasing his vision of the region’s cultural and natural highlights. From one bank of the river to the other, the artist takes us from the Pont Colbert in Dieppe to the cliffs of Étretat, from the Volcano in Le Havre to the Abbey of Jumièges, in Olympic colored outfits , passing the baton to take wing for the gold medal.
