Born in 1982 in Toulouse, Hortense Soichet works on the representation of territories, focusing on questions about living quarters. After working for more than one and a half years on the Goutte d’Or neighborhood of Paris, she is currently working in several outerlying city neighborhoods. She has a doctorate in Art History and frequently writes about photography and contemporary art.
