Since March 22, the French artist Hady Sy has exhibited the series One Blood at the Unesco Palace in Beirut, where he started the project on June 14, 2012, World Blood Donor Day. Hady Sy chose Beirut in order to pay tribute to the city and the will of its people.
One Blood is a journey that lasted four years, a journey of comings and goings and encounters expressing faith in Man. Hady Sy traveled across five continents meeting their citizens, travelers, people threatened with extinction, Amazon Indians, the Inuit of Greenland, the people of Bhutan, China, Nepal, America, Europe, Africa, Australia… One Blood is a work of photography bringing together portraits of men and women who gave blood, and who are committed to raising awareness of the necessity to do the same.
