Still very young, she married Cincinnatus Goulart Mascarenhas, agronomist and a literature enthusiastic. She became a student of the great painter Alberto da Veiga Guignard and kept her passion for the arts even affected by Alzheimer’s disease. The silence of the rooms, the intimacy of the furniture – paintings, drawings and photographs, which I so much contemplate, are the visual memory of my family – an iconography that is part of my heart.
