The Galerie du Port of Ars-en-Ré presents until August 31 an exhibition of L’Oiseau Photographe which is dedicated to aerial photography using drone.
The photographic technique itself, such as the work of the depth of field and the blurs, becomes secondary, it is the choice of the point of view and the moment, season, wind, angle of the sun, tide, which makes the photograph.
“My photos are the result of time and the hour of the day, I study the place, I walk, on the beach, on the dikes, through the marshes, I send my drone like one would send a bird of prey. Until the print and enlargement, I don’t know if what was captured is any good.
Often I come back, I move a few meters, a few hours. Where the light strikes, especially on the edges and the hollows of the waves, where the light and the dark are drawn.” – L’Oiseau Photographe
