My Moment of Happiness –
This Thursday February 4, 2021 at sunrise, I am on the beach of Trouville-sur-Mer for a moment of personal communion with this magnificent natural space.
Just 3 people are visible in the distance on this huge beach at low tide.
I take my camera out of my backpack as well as a sheet of paper and a pen to immortalize and share this moment of pure happiness, of freedom that I feel deep inside …
Frédéric Gerard
For his thirteenth birthday, his father gave him a Polaroid camera. The discovery of photography allowed him to fight against his shyness. Since then, he has conceived of it as a way to stop time, to pass it on to future generations. What matters most to him is the emotion.
His photographic work essentially aims to show the behavior of life in all its forms. The more our life advances, the more we realize that we are only passing through on earth.
Frédéric also tries to show how humans are just a grain of sand in the face of planet Earth. Effects with natural light also figure prominently in his photos. Most of the time, it gives them their own personality. The most important thing is the eye and the way in which his feelings about any scene will succeed in captivating the emotions of those who view his photographs.
He graduated from the EFET Paris School of Photography.
