The Invisible Within Reach
Every day we move through cities inhabited by thousands of lives. Faces, gestures, glances—individual existences crossing paths without ever truly meeting.
Through familiarity, we stop looking. We recognize silhouettes before remembering that they are people.
This series was born from that quiet observation.
Throughout my walks, I sought those fleeting moments when a presence seems to fade away: a traveler lost in an empty station, a figure dissolving into light, a homeless person becoming almost invisible within the urban landscape, a woman absorbed by the horizon, a passerby reduced to nothing more than a reflection.
None of these photographs seeks to explain or accuse.
They simply offer a moment of stillness.
Black and white strips reality of distraction, revealing what remains essential: light, space, silence, and the fragile place of human beings in a world that never stops accelerating.
These photographs speak less about the people we see than about the way we choose to see them.
For the invisible is not always the one who hides.
Sometimes, it is simply the one our gaze quietly allows to disappear.
