Flore: Les rêveries de Lavinia

The Parisian Galerie Demi-Teinte is holding an exhibition of the photographs of Flore.introduced to the artworld from a very young age by her mother, the Spanish painter Olga Gimeno, Flore developed a sensitive and pictorial photographic style. Borrowing from the oriental culture of her childhood in Alexandria, the photographer began shooting the series “Une femme française en Orient” “a french woman in the orient” around the Mediterranean . The latest part of the series will be on view at the gallery through January 10, 2014, along the latest, never-before-seen photographs from Les Rêveries de Lavinia, a series of landscapes inspired by letters exchanged between two friends, that  form a small collection of impressions of Italy.
