The French photographer Anthony Cottarel made his name with a book dedicated to the famous knife, Opinel, produced in collaboration with several chefs. The project Just’unique allows Cottarel to assert an artistic approach where photographs are literally unique—only one copy is produced—and in large format. A winner of the FIPC 2011 Audience Prize, here he is offering “a molten egg, erupting under pressure.” Fire, light, the bowels of the earth.
