The second edition of the Festival Photoreporter is gearing up. Despite the recent announcement that artistic director, Didier Rapaud, will be stepping down, the festival has announced the selection of thirteen international photographers whose work will be exhibited next fall. The selection was made on February 1, 2013, by a jury composed of five big names from the photography world: Jean-Luc Monterosso (Founder and Director of the Maison Européenne de la Photographie), Olivier Laurent (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the British Journal of Photography), Gary Knight (Photographer and founding member of the Agence VII), Alain Genestar (Director of Polka Magazine) and Annie Boulat (Director of the Agence Cosmos and the Fondation Boulat).
From 300 portfolios submitted from 46 countries, the jury selected:

The exhibitions of the 13 photographers will be on view in Baie de Saint-Brieuc from October 19 to November 11, 2013. The festival, directed by Alexandre Solacolu, attracted nearly 80,000 visitors for its first edition in 2012.
