After three years at Bagatelle, the 2014 edition of the Festival Circulation(s) will be held at the Centquatre in Paris. Visitors will once again find a rich program filled with the work of young European photographers. This free festival is built around a selection of artists, guests, special projects and a “carte blanche” given to Xavier Cannone, director of the Musée de la Photographie in Charleroi, Belgium. A total of 45 photographers will present their work through exhibitions, screenings and exhibitions, accompanied by workshops, discussions, and portfolio readings.
The festival is holding a fundraiser for its catalogue on the crowdfunding platform KissKissBankBank. Published by Bec en L’air, this 120-page catalogue features the work of the 45 photographers at Circulation(s). It will be released on February 8, 2014, to coincide with the festival opening. The funds raised will go towards productions costs like layout, translation and printing.
