Born in 1987, Fanny Viguier began her artistic career at the Beaux Arts Academy in Nantes in 2005. After a year there, she decided to supplement her technical studies with more theoretical ones by earning undergraduate and graduate degrees in art history at the Sorbonne. She ended up in the photography department at the École des Gobelins in 2013.
