The Continua gallery welcomes Fabien Charuau from the Indian gallery Chaterjee and Lal in Bombay for its new exhibition Sphères 6. He is exhibiting there Ways of the Road, a photographic road movie on the roads of Rajasthan. The concept is simple, three photographs shot every kilometer. With the goal of gathering a maximum data in his photographs: dust on the road, fingerprints of the operator, accidents during processing and printing…, Fabien Charruau lets his photographs merge with road and self express by themselves. The result is a body of work that gives a feel of the extraordinary life and the ruthless beauty of the Indian road, saturated by heat and light.
