The Grand Prix Photo of Saint-Tropez is unique because it offers both an international photography contest, exhibitions and an auction. This innovative concept is entirely dedicated to a humanitarian cause, Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque (heart surgery).
The organizers and partners of the Grand Prix Photo of Saint-Tropez who gathered on the occasion of the official launch of the contest, unveiled the theme chosen for this new edition: Contraste (“Contrast”).
The amateur or professional participants can register today and send their photos until March 15, 2019 on the dedicated website: www.grandprixphoto.org
As in previous years, the 2019 jury will select the finalists who will be exhibited in Saint-Tropez, then nominate the winners of the 3 categories: “Young Talents”, “Passionate” and “Premium Class”.
The laureates and finalists will be chosen by a prestigious jury of whom Inès de La Fressange will be the patron: Francis Dagnan (President of Studio Harcourt), Bob Swaim (Film director, producer and screenwriter), Hans Silvester (Photographer), Agnès Grégoire (Head Editor of Photo Magazine), Pacha Bensimon (Creative Director Hermes), Didier Bizos (Photographer), Anne Méaux (President of the Agendy Image 7), Roch Lorente (Channel Manager CANON) and David Attal (Atelier Fotodart).
The photographs will be exhibited in several locations in the city from June to the end of August. An auction of photographs offered by renowned photographers will take place at the end of the exhibition on August 20th at Château de la Messardière (http://www.messardiere.com/).
