From January 5 to February 2, 2019, the Thierry Bigaignon Gallery presents “GYUTO”, a solo exhibition by Australian artist Tobi Wilkinson.
Guyto is a collection of images full of compassion, grace and poetry, which show the contradiction between the impermanence of life and the continuity of tradition. Nine years of work were necessary to Tobi Wilkinson to capture what emanates from the monastery of Gyuto, to describe the particular mood of the monks who live there.
