Christian Kettiger works with beauty, he has even made of it the field of application and predilection of his career as a photographer. Rather than constructing still lifes, he devotes himself to life, exploring the infinite photonic variations of the moving, the living. But much more than capturing this beauty of beings, women, men, children and the places that carry them, he knows how to produce the innumerable and subtle conditions, so that beauty occurs, and is manifested as a phenomenon in front of his lenses of glass, his metal cameras and his eyes of flesh that will soon be ours.
Here, we stand before these youthful nudities that no face differentiates, that no nuance of carnation comes gradually disunite, these full bodies joined by the loving gaze, collected and coupled to these places that fit with and respond to them. They build together a wall against intranquility, a shield world that intervenes and protects us from this uncertainty that relentlessly assails us.
Faced with these bodies that black and white drag on a little longer, here are some looks, aged and cleverly prepared. Elegant Ladys adorned with their colorful jewels and beautifully coiffed smile at us, they reveal us, each with a tone and a mysterious history that we will try to read on their faces, some fragments of the enigma of the passage of time.
Taken in the dialogue initiated between these two homes, we enter The Age of Beauty and will never leave it again, this age of beauty is permanent, it is the word that Christian Kettiger addresses to us.
